For those in the know, the entire design of a watch is reverse engineered from its movement inside. The overall diameter of the movement determines the case diameter of the watch. The date location on the movement determines the window location on the dial, which may lead to odd window placement creating an asymmetric overall look. But mostly what a movement governs and what is most prevalent is the thickness of the timepiece. That is why we have opted with the Sellita SW300, this is a higher end ultra thin 3.6mm Automatic Swiss Movement used in brands such as Hublot, Bell & Ross and Baume et Mercier. SELLITA SW300

As important the case and dial are for the aesthetic appeal of a watch, the strap and clasp are just as important. The strap completes the watch, the clasp even though is mostly hidden away, when revealed, it showcases the overall luxury and refinement a watch needs, nothing is worse than a bulky clasp that knocks desks and creates an uneven resting area for your hand. The decision to go with a custom made FKM rubber strap was a costly investment. However to achieve the completed aesthetic it was definitely required. The strap is incredibly supple and comfortable around the wrist, the curved grooves flow perfectly from the dial to between the lugs.
